My First trip to VA Beach and with my in-laws!

My first trip with my in-laws by myself was an experience. It was a great way to get to know my in-laws. My mother-in-law I already knew lots about professionally, as she was my assistant principal when I worked at TXR and introduced me to her son Matthew. I didn't know as much about my brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, who after I went on this trip, I LOVE!!! This is the bunch, minus me. I took the picture! ;) My brother-in-lawJoseph, mybrother-in-law Jonny, my mother-in-law Linda, one of my nephews, and Jen. They are in front of the Neptune statue and the boardwalk.

This is one of my nephews. Isn't he adorable?!

Summer Trip to Memphis 2010

What was supposed to be a Me & Mommy Trip

turned into...
a Me & The rest of the Dorris Clan trip!

Don't get me wrong my family is a hoot but the trip wasn't what I expected it to be. Mom and I were supposed to go look for apartments. That didn't happen thanks to the rest of the family! :) Instead of looking for apartments we went to the

The Memphis Zoo,

Mud Island,

Beale Street, and

Tom Lee Park!

While we were at the zoo we saw...
